Field hockey is a team sport and is from hockey family. Field hockey’s origins is from England, Scotland, France and the Netherlands. The game is played on a grass or a turf field as well as an indoor board surface. Each team has eleven members, including the goalie. Players use sticks made out of wood (or other materials) to hit a ball. Only one end of the stick is allowed to be used. Any team which scores the most goals by the end of the match wins the game.
