8. Shaolin

Shaolin is 2011 Chinese made martial arts film that is produced and directed by Benny Chan. Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse and Jackie Chan are stars of the movie.

In Cina during the warlord era, a warlord named Hou Jie takes the control of the city of Dengfeng. He shoots his rival Huo Long in Shaolin Temple where he was hiding in front of the monks and insults them. He does not stop there and sets a trap for his sworn brother, Song Hu, and fatally injures him. Meanwhile, Hou's deputy, Cao Man, betrays and attacks Hou with his assassins. Despite being shot by Hou, Song saves him with a warning, allowing him to escape, and then dies. While Hou escapes, his daughter will die and he hides in the Shaolin Temple and becomes a monk. So his way of life changes and he becomes a different person and starts caring about the others.

Movie has great martial arts scenes and a great story. Nice movie to watch.
